Replenishment should feel like a checklist. Most of the time, in most mid-market systems, it feels like forensics.
CloudPeak's PO module starts with a reorder-point calculator that you can override per SKU (because you know your supplier's lead-time variance better than any algorithm does). Multi-supplier rules pick a winner by landed cost + lead time + reliability — and expose the scorecard so your buyer can override with a reason code. Approvals route by dollar threshold; we default to auto-approve under $5k, VP approval to $25k, CFO above. ASN capture reconciles on arrival: 3-way match between the PO, the receipt, and the supplier invoice, with a tolerance window in dollars and days.
Lead-time telemetry is the part buyers actually care about. Every receipt updates supplier lead-time statistics — median, p90, and trend. When lead-time blows out by more than 2σ, we ping the buyer in Slack.
